How do I install the ambient lights that I bought from Bimmer-Garage.de ?
First you have to measure how long the slot is into which the light should enter.
The transparent strips must now be cut to the same dimensions and one end inserted into the chrome-plated end of the connector.
The other end must now be connected either in the glove compartment, or to the light control center, or simply plugged in via the supplied USB port.
We recommend gluing the plastic strip under the bar.
TIP:
For example, if you want to get past the speedometer, remove it using the two screws at the top, move the light behind it and reinstall everything. Areas that cannot be hidden can be covered with black duct tape.
