Here you can see our repair sheet metal kit for repairing the rear axle mount in case of severe cracks or torn axle mounts.
They also serve as a precaution.
Cracks in the area of the rear axle mounts are unfortunately a known problem in the E46 series and can be found in all body variants from the convertible, coupe, sedan, touring to the compact.
The repair proposal from our authorized workshop is to completely replace the underbody. This repair costs around €5,000 and unfortunately does not solve the cause of the problem.
We have designed our set so that it can be directly welded in and solves the problem completely.
If you can remove and install the rear axle yourself and can also weld, you can save a lot of money and do it yourself.
